READ Poster...

Mallory and Mommy had lots of fun reading tons of library books this summer. Mallory logged a total of 50 hours of reading, so she received her very own READ poster from the library, and it is so cute...

And, she is VERY proud of it!

The library asked us to bring her favorite book for the picture, and of course she chose her Mother Goose book!

Mallory's Best Friend...

Last week, Ms. Sharon took the kids to the library for story time. The Librarian read several books about friends. She then asked the group if they had a best friend. Kayden said her best friends were Mallory and her cousin, Jillian. When the librarian asked Mallory who her best friend was, she said, "Daisy." :o) Isn't that sweet!?! Ms. Sharon said Kayden looked at Mallory like she couldn't believe she didn't say her name!

Mallory does love her Daisy...just today, she said, "Daisy is so cute; I love her."

Our Olympian...

We loved watching the Summer Olympics! Of course, Mallory's favorite event was gymnastics. The other night she was so excited...she wanted to do gymnastics while watching, and she asked if she could put on her outfit..

It was hilarious how she would watch and copy everything they did...

Ta-Da!

The Circus...

Last night, we went downtown for dinner and the CIRCUS!

First, we met up with the Simpson's and walked to Billy Miner's to eat some yummy burgers and fries...

Mallory was very excited! We have been reading books to learn about the circus...Mallory was ready to see the animals and the clowns, but she was most excited about eating cotton candy!

Throughout dinner, the girls asked, "Now can we go to the circus?" So, once we said we were ready, they ran almost the whole way...

Mallory loved seeing all the animals...elephants, tigers, dogs, horses, but she did ask, "There any pigs?" I told her no; then she asked, "They sleeping?" She LOVES pigs!

She liked the acrobats, too...

FINALLY, time for COTTON CANDY!

The girls shared so nicely and ate every bit of it!!!

Waves of Fun!

Mallory, Mommy, and Daddy went to Port Aransas. We had three days of fun on the beach...relaxing, playing, and just enjoying being together...

Mallory loved the ocean...she was not afraid at all! She thought the waves were a blast!!

The only thing she didn't like was when the salt water got in her eyes. She would get out, keep her eyes closed, and walk to wipe her eyes with a towel. After that, she was good to go...

Mallory played and played with her toys in the water and in the sand...

She collected seashells in this orange cup everyday...

Each day, we would go from the boardwalk straight to the pool...

One evening, we went out to dinner to Virginia's...hard to believe Mommy and Daddy went to this same restaurant in 2000!

It was very humid, and Mallory hair was so curly...such a cutie pie!

Our last night, we went back down to the beach to take some pictures...

Then, we walked on the pier...

We had a wonderful family vacation...Mallory already talks about how she wants to go back to the beach!
