Santa Shirts...

Right after Paige's party, Mallory and mommy met daddy over at the Simpson's house. The girls had another craft night, while the daddy's watched football. Since Mommy and Mrs. Erin loved the turkey shirts so much, we decided to do one for Christmas...

Mallory was excited to paint, so...

she started all by herself...

"Mallory, are you sure you are supposed to be doing that?"

"I did it all by myself!"

Now, for a little painting on the paper...

Mallory did a great job, and after a lot of hard work, her shirt turned out really cute...

Clownin' Around...

Mallory and Mommy went to Paige's 5th birthday party today...

It was a fun party with a clown show and much more!
The clowns took the kids' pictures...

Mallory's turn...say, "cheese!"

Mallory loved the clowns...she listened and watched everything they did...

The birthday girl!

The clowns gave out suckers,

made balloon animals...

The clown asked, "Does anyone have a wiener dog?" Mallory said, "I do, I do!" So, Mallory loved that she got a blue Daisy balloon...

They played "pin the crown on the princess,"

And, played a tossing game with frogs...

Mallory made 1 out of 3...

Mallory got her face painted...

Mommy's beautiful flower...

"Oh man, it's time for the clowns to go"

But, that's okay, because it's time for cake!

Mallory loves her cousin, Paige!

Paige, we hope you had a great birthday...Mallory sure had a blast! Thanks for inviting us...

Soccer, Game 3...

Only 6 out of 10 players made it to the soccer game since it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Mallory got to play the whole game except for about 3 minutes...

Check out Mallory's fans supporting her...Daddy, Mimi & Granddad, and Mimi & Pawpaw...

Mallory ran the entire time! She mostly chased the crowd of other players. When I told her she needed to get the ball, she said, "But, they won't give it to me." I told her Soccer isn't about sharing :o) They aren't going to give it to you, you have to get it yourself.

We were talking after the game how it's funny how we tell kids to take turns and share, but in situations like this, it's the opposite...

'Tis the Season!

We started getting in the Christmas spirit today by decorating the house...

Mallory has been asking to watch "The Polar Express," but we have been telling her she had to wait until we started decorating for Christmas. So, that was the first thing she wanted to do! And, she even had some friends watch it with her!

It was so fun to watch her look at all the things we would get out of the boxes...she wanted to touch everything, and she was so careful...

This was HILARIOUS!!! When I told Mallory it was time for us to decorate the tree...she started adding some of her favorite things...Baby Angie, Daisy's Christmas toys,

the clip right out of her hair and this candy cane ornament...she knew she was being super silly, and she loved that Daddy and Mommy thought she was so funny!

Now for some real ornaments...

That little grin is priceless...

Mallory is really excited about Christmas this year, and we are going to have so much fun over the next few weeks leading up to it!!

"We have so much to be THANKFUL for..."

Thanksgiving...
A day usually celebrated by food and drink.
Yet, the most fulfilling aspect is not to be found on plate, bowl, on cup of cider,
but in the family, friends, and those held dear, both near and far.
For without those "ingredients" there would be no cause for celebration.
Celebrate with fulfillment of the Heart and the enrichment of the Soul.

Granddad read this to us today, and we truly did have a wonderful day with our family...

Mommy and Daddy adore Mallory and are thankful for her everyday...

Mommy LOVES Mallory so much!!!

Mallory is very thankful to have such wonderful grandparents...
Granddad and Mimi...

Granny and Papaw...

There is nothing like a grandmother's love...

Mallory did miss her Mimi and Pawpaw who couldn't come over today...

After our big Thanksgiving lunch, Mallory, Mommy, Mimi, and Granny had to get some exercise...Mallory was being so funny on her bike...

She enjoyed looking at the Christmas decorations that were starting to make their appearance around the neighborhood...

She said, "I want to hold baby Jesus!" But, I told her she would have to just give him a kiss...

We got back just in time from our bike ride for Bryce, Brooklyn, Uncle Joe, and Aunt Angie to get to our house...

Mallory was very excited to see them!

They played in the backyard...

Brooklyn joined in the fun, too!

Mallory and Bryce shared some pie together...

YUMMY!!

Granny even got Bryce and Uncle Joe a birthday cake since she would not get to see them on their birthdays...

Mallory was happy about that, because that meant TWO desserts in ONE day!!!

Two sweet, tired, little girls...

Mallory is also thankful for her best friend, Daisy...

Thanksgiving 2008 was a special day spending time with those we are thankful for and love very much!
