Happy Birthday America!

IMG_8226We have been so busy that we decided to hang out at home today, just the 3 of us.  When Mommy and Daddy told Mallory it was July 4th, she said, like she does all the time, “What does that mean?”  We explained to her that it was our country’s birthday.  She said, “Well, we need to make a birthday cake!”  Mommy thought that was so cute, so we went to the store to pick up our ingredients…Mallory chose a white, confetti cake…

IMG_8246The hardest thing about baking a cake is waiting for it to be done!  So, we did some July 4th activities while we waited… IMG_8247 IMG_8254 IMG_8256  IMG_8260
