Come and See the Christmas Tree...

Tonight we went to the City of Hurst tree lighting. Mommy was so excited, because this is the first of many Christmas activities we will be doing this year. Mallory is at such a great age this year to enjoy the Christmas spirit...

We went with Kayden and her mommy and daddy, and the girls looked adorable in their Santa shirts...

Mallory looks precious in this hat! So precious, that mommy bought one in almost every color!

Mallory was so excited to see all the characters! I remember last year at Easter we went to an event with characters, it took her about an hour to warm up to them. Not, this time! She wanted to hug and take her picture with all of them!

Frosty the Snowman...

Rudolph...

Big Brown Bear...

Mallory got a pretty little snowflake painted on her pretty little cheek...

She was so serious the whole time, because the girl painting her face was dressed up as an elf...she whispered to me, "Mommy, this lady has big ears."

The girls had time to dance around while listening to Christmas carols...

Then, it was time to light the tree...

Fireworks!

Mallory has always liked fireworks...

It was very neat how everything went from dark to light...Mallory loved it!

Mallory got to see Santa walk down to the tree...

Time to take a break and have some hot chocolate...

Mommy loves this picture...

Mallory got to walk through a petting zoo...

She really thought this bunny was cute!

Time to go...

Mommy wasn't expecting there to be so many fun things tonight...tree lighting, face painting, fireworks, hot chocolate, petting zoo, live music from a band and choir...and seeing Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, and other friends...

We will have to come back next year...
