Every summer, we have a fun-filled weekend with the Brannen side of the family. This year we started it with a girls’ trip to the American Girl store at the Galleria with Mimi, Aunt Joni, and Ellie. Mallory was very excited to see all the dolls, but she was REALLY excited to see Ellie!
Here we go…this should be fun!
Wow…as soon as you walk in there is pink all over and dolls everywhere!
We had a little time to look around before we met up with the others…
Mallory loved the dolls, but she also really liked all the little accessories…
We’ll do more shopping later, time to go up to the restaurant to meet the other girls…escalators are so much FUN!
Mallory got to pick a baby to have brunch with her…
Mommy has so much fun doing these girly things with her sweet girl…
Ellie brought her own American girl dolls… Mallory and Ellie got pink lemonade and so did their babies…
Making sure her baby gets a drink…
The girls like drinking better out of the babies’ little tea cups…
After our yummy brunch, it was time to do some shopping…Mimi wanted to buy Mallory an itty bitty baby…
Mallory didn’t want a bald baby…she wanted a doll with hair, and she decided she wanted her baby to have brown eyes just like her…
Aunt Joni bought Mallory’s new doll a cute little cupcake dress…thank you Aunt Joni!
THANK YOU MIMI for my very first America Girl doll…I LOVE YOU!
The big American Girl dolls come with a name, but the babies don’t…so when we asked Mallory what her baby’s name was…she pointed to one of the big dolls and said, “I want my baby to have the same name as her.” Ellie said, “That’s Felicity,” so Felicity it is…
