Mallory had her 4 yr old check-up today…
Weight: 38 pounds, 75%
Height: 41 1/4 inches, 75%
Blood pressure: 84/46
Mallory also got her eyes and ears checked, and she passed! It was so cute watching her do these tests. The nurse would try to trick her during the hearing test and say, “Did you hear that beep,” when there really wasn’t one. But, Mallory never fell for it. She definitely has good hearing, because she can hear Mommy and Daddy’s conversation from the back seat of the car or from anywhere in the house. It also helps that she is nosey like her Mommy. And, we hope she continues to have good eye sight like her Daddy and not like her Mommy…
Then, Mallory had to get 3 shots in her little thighs and a flu mist in her nose. It was so sad watching her get those shots. She did great with the first one, but the second and third one took her by surprise and she cried and cried. And, Mommy held her as tears filled my eyes. It is so hard to watch that! We were supposed to go to gymnastics class, but we asked Mallory if she wanted to, and she said, “It might make my legs hurt worse.” We agreed and told her she could pick where we would have dinner. She picked Jason’s Deli, so off we went…
