Walking in a Winter Wonderland…

 It was a Winter Wonderland outside on Christmas Eve, and it was a Winter Wonderland inside at the Gaylord!  Mallory, Mommy, Pawpaw, and Mimi had so much fun walking around looking at all the pretty Christmas decorations…

We all loved looking at the trains…they were so neat…

 

Mallory was so excited about Santa coming tonight, she wanted to run around and climb on everything…it was so funny…every time we turned around she was climbing on something…

 Mallory said, “Mimi, Pawpaw, watch this.”  She climbed up on this rock, sat down, and posed for a picture…so sweet…

 The Gingerbread House area was definitely Mallory’s favorite!

Mallory thought it was cool that she could go inside the gingerbread house, because she remembered she didn’t get to do that last year…Mallory quickly talked Mimi into a treat…a santa sucker!

After walking around for a couple of hours and even stopping for a few minutes for a rest and a drink, we decided it was time to go.  It was getting dark and with the snow, we knew the roads could be bad.  And, Mallory and Mommy had to get home and get ready for Santa!!  The Gaylord really looked pretty as it was getting dark and the lights came on…

Mallory, Mommy, and Mimi waited at the door for Pawpaw to go get the car.  When someone would open the door, the cold wind would hit Mallory’s face…she LOVED it!  She was so excited to get home and play in the snow!

 

Thank you Pawpaw for taking us to lunch and the Gaylord AND for getting us home safely!  It took us about an hour to get home, because the roads were getting icy.  Mommy and Mallory enjoyed spending the day with Mimi and Pawpaw!  Now, Mallory was ready to play in the snow and get ready for SANTA to come!!!
