7 Months…

 

      7 months – WOW! This month has really flown by!  Our doctor appointments have gone pretty well this month.  The fetal cardiologist says the babies’ hearts look good, so she released us!!  We do not have to go back to her unless Dr. Peters sees a change; that is wonderful news!  Dr. Peters does not believe the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome will get any worse.  He believes our bigger girl, Madison, is getting exactly what she needs, not too much, not too little.  However, we are definitely keeping a close eye on our little girl, Mia.  She is still getting a little less than she needs.  As of this week, Madison is measuring 2 lbs. 6 ounces, right at 27 weeks and is at the 33rd percentile.  Mia is measuring 1 lb. 11 ounces, 25 weeks and is less than the 3rd percentile.  These measurements showed that they both grew 8 ounces in 2 weeks! 

This month we were able to take Mallory to the doctor with us.  We would have taken her more often, but we never know what the outcome will be, so we have played it safe.  Since our appointments have been more positive, we wanted her to come with us and see a sonogram.  She was very excited!  Instead of watching the sonogram screen, Mallory was mostly focused on me laying on the table and getting that gel put on my tummy.  She would even stroke my arm.  She is so sweet to her mommy!  We did point some things out to her on the screen, but it was kind of hard for her to see it.  Lisa turned on the 4D to see if that would help Mallory see, but the babies weren’t positioned good…one had her arm in front of her face and the other had her back of her head toward us.

My favorite part about being pregnant is feeling movement…it is so amazing!  That is something I will definitely miss.  Daddy and Mallory like feeling and watching the babies move, too.  The room is coming along, and it’s really cute!  Paulette, Mel, and Julie are giving me and our baby girls a shower next weekend and that will be so much fun!  They are such good friends!  Mallory is super excited about the shower…she will be Mommy’s big helper!!
