It’s Valentine’s Day, and Mommy, Daddy, and Mallory spent the whole day together. We relaxed together, we played together, and we worked together going through and putting away all of Mia and Madison’s presents from the shower yesterday…
Since last Valentine’s Day, Mallory has asked me about the scavenger hunt I did for her. At least 5 or 6 times throughout the year she has said, “Mommy, you remember that hunting thing you did on Valentine’s Day? I want you to do that again.”
So, Mallory stayed in Mia and Madison’s room while Mommy got it all set up for her. When I told her it was all ready, she peeked out and was so excited!!!
Mallory had to follow the trail of hearts to find her Valentine gifts from mommy and Daddy…
She started off picking up every heart and putting them in her bag…
She went in her room first and saw her new Scooby Doo game and case for her Leapster…
A new Fancy Nancy Valentine book!!!
Then, she decided to wall on hearts like a path…
Cozy pillow and blanket…
Yummy candy!!
Through the kitchen to the dining room table…watercolors and big sucker…
Mallory loved every minute of her hunt!!
She gathered up all her new valentine goodies and sat on the couch, so she could go through all of it…
A little later in the day, Mallory was playing in her room. It got really quiet, so I went to check on her. I found her laying on the floor all covered up with her new blanket…
Mommy, Mallory, and Daddy had a great Valentine’s Day together!
Mallory is Mommy’s sweetheart!!!
Mallory…You are so special to me, and I am so proud of you!!! Mommy loves you very much and don’t you forget it!!
After we were done reading books tonight and laying in bed, Mallory gave me the biggest hug and said, “Mommy, I wish we were stuck together.” I asked her why, and she said “Because, we could go every where together!” She also said while hugging me, “I just can’t get enough of you!”
She is such a SWEETIE!!!
