Today was Mia and Madison’s Baby Shower, and Mommy and Mallory were so excited!!
Mommy and Mallory…
Mommy, Mia, and Madison….
Cute Invitation…
Here I am with my hostesses and best friends…Paulette, Julie, and Mel. They, plus Angie, also gave me a shower for Mallory almost 5 years They are so sweet and fun; I am so thankful I have them as friends…
Granny, Mommy, Mallory & Mimi… Mallory, Mommy, & Mimi….
My girls have the BEST grandmothers in the world!!
They used the colors pink and brown, just like the nursery, and they had some valentine hearts and kisses thrown in there, because tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. The snacks were yummy and the diaper bouquet was too cute…
The cake was so sweet…4 little feet!! And, it was delicious!!
Time to open presents…there were so many presents and Mallory was such a good helper…
While we were opening presents, everyone else was playing Baby Bingo. Their bingo cards had baby items in the spaces, so every time we opened something, they had to check to see if it was on their card. Mallory would open a present, say what it was, and hold it up so everyone could see it. If Ms. Sharon was talking and not looking, Mallory would say, “Ms. Sharon, Ms. Sharon, look.” It was so funny, Mallory wanted Sharon to see every single gift. And, Sharon ended up winning the game, too, along with Molly…
Here’s Mommy laughing while Mallory is waiting for Sharon to look…
Mallory was so sweet and cute!! She would open a gift and say “Ahhhhhhh” and “That’s so cute!” or “That’s so adorable!” At one point, Mallory whispered, “Mommy, it’s like it’s my birthday.”
Aunt Donna made these adorable quilts, and they match the room just perfectly…
Everybody made it a point to make the big sister feel special. Aunt Dolly got all 3 girls matching pink hippo pajamas…they are going to look adorable in them!!!
Debbie got the girls matching peace sign t-shirts. She also gave Mallory a big sister bag full of things she can use to help with her sisters…books, pacifiers, toys, and more…
Mimi and Granddad got her these Big Sis pajamas…
Mimi and Pawpaw got her this cute purse and clips. Granny and Papaw gave her a present, too, a dress and a pillow and blanket…
Her BFF, Kayden, gave her a Big Sister present, too, a book and a game…
All done…Everybody was so thoughtful and generous…Mia and Madison got so many wonderful things! And, Mallory was the best helper and will be the BEST BIG SISTER!!!
When we were done opening the presents, Mallory said, “Man, that sure made me hungry!” She loves to eat, and sure did love all the snacks. While she was eating, she asked me to take her picture with the balloons :)
Another funny story…we went to Erin’s baby shower last weekend. When we were about to open Erin’s present, I read the card and told Mallory who it was from, she said, “This is our present we gave.” She noticed the gift bag was the one we gave Erin. We all laughed!! For one that Mallory noticed, and for another, the one bag Erin decided to re-use was ours :) Got to love recycling those gift bags!!! I do it, too!!!
Sharon, Mallory and Mommy…Mia and Madison are going to love Ms. Sharon just like Mallory does!!! I am so thankful everyday that we found Sharon!!!!
Mommy’s Coppell buddies…Marilyn, Debbie, Kristy, and Terri…
Aunt Teresa, Mommy, and cousin Molly…
Aunt Donna, Mommy, Mallory and Mimi…
Connie, Mommy, and Leslie…wonderful family friends…
And, Mommy with all her PREGGO friends!!!
Erin & Karsyn / Julie & Vivianne / Paulette & Kayla / Mommy, Mia & Madison/ and Mel with the only little boy (and still working on the name)…he will be one lucky boy surrounded by all these pretty little girls…
Look at all this stuff! Mia and Madison loaded up!! The shower was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so sweet and thoughtful. I feel so loved! Thank you Paulette for opening up your house to all of us. And, thank you Paulette, Mel, and Julie for planning everything; you are such great friends!!!
I am ready for Mia and Madison to be here, safe and sound, and meeting all our wonderful friends and family!!!
And, if the shower wasn’t enough sweetness for the day, we came home to these pretty Valentine flowers and a steak dinner made by our sweet Daddy!!!
During dinner, we told Daddy all about the shower. Mallory even said, “Daddy, some of them got me surprises, too.”
After dinner, Mallory and Mommy laid on the couch together. Mallory put her head on my belly and said, “Babies, you got a lot of presents today.”
